The selection of materials is directly related to the sterilization way selected by the built-in medical apparatus and instruments.

The common sterilization methods include: EO (ethylene oxide) sterilization: applicable to such materials as PET\HIPS\PP\PETG; Irradiation sterilization (Ƴ or e-beam): applicable to the PETG material (high dose); In addition, it is also somehow correlated with the material of customers' products and risk assessment. Currently, PETG is commonly used in the industry of medical apparatus and instruments, such as in category III medical apparatus and instruments and the exported products; while APET occupies a share in category II medical apparatus and instruments; category I anesthesia mainly uses the HIPS materials.
